Third Superman Returns Trailer

A TON of people have sent me a link to the third Superman Returns Trailer. This is the best trailer yet.

Now a lot of people (especially my Audio Edition Co-Host Doug Nagy) have been upset by the fact that there is going to be some romance and inner turmoil for the Man of Steel in this flick as evidenced by the trailers and commercials up to this point. I take a different point of view.

Superman is not The Hulk. Nor is he a Ninja. Superman has never been about all thrills smash em’ up non-stop action. He is a conflicted character with ideals stronger than himself… and those ideals make him face dilemmas on a daily basis, both personal and practical. This trailer shows that.

Also, this new trailer felt more like the original Superman than anything else I’ve seen so far. As far as I’m concerned, I think Singer has 100% taken the right path with this project. Now let’s see if I still feel that way after finally seeing it.
