The movie I’ve been waiting my whole life to see (pretty sad commentary on my life) is finished its first week of filming! A few weeks ago we pointed you to Michael Bay’s blog where he was dropping Transformers info. Yesterday he added a new post about finishing his first week of filming. Here’s some of what he had to say:
“We finished our first week. One of the best first weeks on a movie I’ve ever experienced. We shot over 250 set ups.”
“I’ve anticipated leaks for months so I keep the only shooting script in my computer. Nobody has it, not even actors get a full script. Steven Spielberg taught me this trick.”
“Friday we shot two CV-22’s (Ospreys). They fly like aliens dropping out of the sky. We also shot stealth fighters and low attack missile runs (50 feet off the deck) A10 Warthogs. They look so deadly and mean.”
Well, at least it sounds like he’s enthusiastic about it. Honestly, everything I’ve read and heard about this project up to this point has been encouraging. In the end all that will matter is my opinion of the film after I see it. But it’s always encouraging to see the director getting pumped.
