Sabretooth In Wolverine Movie

SabertoothThe folks over at iF Magazine recently did an interview with the guys who wrote X-Men 3. They spill a lot of dirt on the behind the scenes stuff, as well as some facts about future X-Men projects… the Wolverine movie in particular.

Now I should mention up front that I’m one of the guys who actually enjoyed X-Men 3. Doug and I both walked out of it having had a great time. Yeah, it was the worst of the 3, and it had some obvious weaknesses… but overall a fun tim eat the movie theater.

One of the more interesting things that came up in the interview was stuff about the Wolverine film. The best nugget of info was that fact that Sabretooth is going to be in it!!! I LOVED the first X-Men film, but the one thing that I always wished they did differently was how they handled Sabretooth and the history and rivalry he has with Wolverine. This was always one of the biggest story arcs in the X-Men universe. In the greatest comic book serise of all time, The Age Of Apocalypse, Sabertooth become one of my very favorite comic characters (just behind Magneto). I’d LOVE to see him again on the screen… just done a bit better.

The whole interview is pretty interesting and worth a read.
