I know teaser trailers are supposed to catch your eye and start to build interest in a film. And I also know that studios will sometimes try to employ certain gimmicks to pull that off… fair enough.
But this one is just STUPID! The new prequel for Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning) is now online. But here’s the rub… you can only view it from between 10pm and 4am!
“OOohhh… it’s sooo scary and sooooooo shocking we can only make it available late at night!!” MORONS. So now, I WAS interested in seeing the teaser… but I’m not anymore. So they had me… they had me ready to see their marketing in action. But instead, all they’ve done is ticked me off and made me less interested in seeing it. Well done guys… well done.
