Jessica Biel raises $30,000 in lunch Date Auction

Jessica-Biel-2This is not really movie news… but it’s a story worth being told. Jessica Biel (Esquire’s “The Sexiest Woman Alive” and one of the residents of John Campea’s fantasy playhouse) recently put up a lunch date with her up for auction in order to raise money for a young girl who lost her leg in a limo accident on her prom night. The USA Today gives us this:

Bloom lost a leg and part of her pelvis in the May 13 accident and was undergoing rehabilitation at a Denver hospital. Bloom was run over and dragged about 38 feet by a Hummer stretch limousine, police said.

Holy crap what a sad story. The good news is that Jessica Biel comes along and helps out. And a date with her went for $30,000!!! This will show you what a selfish bastard I really am… after I hear that sad story of the girl losing her leg, and the generosity of Biel… all I could think was:

“WHY THE HELL COULDN’T I COME UP WITH $30,000!?!?!?!” Jessica… I’ve got $20. Give me a call. Please.
