Spielberg Doesn’t Give Much Hope For Indiana Jones 4

It doesn’t matter what industry you work in… if you work with people, you start to be able to read in between the lines. Steven Spielberg recently talked about a bunch of his projects that he’s got on the go, including Indiana Jones 4 (the film that I’d love to see but have come to accept that it will NEVER happen).

I’ve been saying for about a month around here that Indiana Jones 4 will never happen. And Spielberg’s most recent comments are just making things more dim. Oh he was trying to sound optimistic… but let me give you the quote found via Filmrot… and then you tell me what you see:

Well you know’ George and I have been promising it for a lot of years now, but I’m making every attempt to keep my promise.

Did you see that? Look at it again. Ok, now although Spielberg is trying to ENCOURAGE the Indy fans with that quote (of which I am one), what I see is him admitting defeat. It’s clearly not going well.

It’s like a doctor telling the husband of a dying woman “We’re doing everything we can” Yeah… she’s a gonner.
