You read that right. They’re actually making a movie about a guy who won a Bass fishing competition. The good folks over at Dark Horizons give us this:
Penned by Iaconelli with Andrew Kamenetzky and Brian Kamenetzky, follows Iaconelli’s background as a child in New Jersey to prominence in the world of pro fishing. Iaconelli, one of the few non-Southern competitors, cemented his star status by winning the 2003 Citgo Bassmaster Classic.

This ranks right up there with spray on hair and casting Jessica Simpson in anything other than porn as one of the world’s stupidest ideas. Yeah, I’m sure it’ll captivate me for 90 minutes of glory. Ugg.
