Jason Mewes In Vampire Comedy

Jason-Mewes VampireI’ve got to admit I don’t really know much about Jason Mewes other than the fact that he is “Jay” of “Jay and Silent Bob” fame. I know he had some addiction problems that he’s apparently kicked (good for you dude!), but other than that… not much. I can’t even recall seeing him in anything non-JAY related.

But now that Kevin Smith says he’s done with Jay and Silent Bob, it’s time to move on… and moving on he is. Accroding to the good folks over at Cinematical, he’s about to star in a Vampire comedy:

Pic is said to be a vampire comedy set in the world of America’s businesses. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the premise sounds pretty interesting. Lucky for us, Paris Hilton has not been cast. Hmm, seeing as she makes a living sucking the life out of anything remotely interesting, I’m surprised she’s not on board.

Considering how much I enjoyed Clerks 2, I’m suddenly really interested to see Mewes outside of the “Jay” character to see what he can do.
