Species 4?

species.jpgI always thought that Natasha Henstridge was an appropriate choice for the result of DNA perfection treatment in Species. I didnt think the series needed a sequel, and it sure as hell didnt need a third.

Species 4? Oh good grief. Is it at least going to have a good plot? FilmRot seems to have some insight on the proposed storyline:

Species 4 follows Miranda Hollander, a beautiful and brilliant young university professor who’s horrified when her “uncle”, Tom Hollander, reveals that she is not actually human after all, but an alien hybrid he created in a laboratory

Yeah, whoops. You might have wanted to just stick with that with the “you were adopted” talk you wanted to use. It appears that he has to say something because she might not live much longer, but curing her will make her into the killer alien race that we barely survived through the first three movies.

So let her die not knowing what she really is, and everyone is alive and happy. Roll credits.

Im going to wager its Direct to Dvd, like part3, if it even gets made at all.
