It would be an understatement to say Disney is having a good year. Pirates of the Carilbbean 2 has taken over a BILLION dollars world wide… and now another Disney flick has just pushed it out of the #1 spot in several foreign markets. Cars.
Cars has already made over $170 million in foreign markets… and it’s just opening in a lot of the Euripean ones this week. It’s worldwide total right now sits at $420 million. Add that to the already insane $1,004,100,000 that Pirates has made… and well… let’s just say the kids of Disney execs are going to be getting some really kick ass presents this year. That’s a lot of carrots.
Next year already looks good with another Pixar release and the third installment of the Pirates trilogy. Man, I’d like to own some Disney stock right about now.
