Just shoot me now. They hired Ellen DeGeneres to host the Oscars this year. What a monumental mistake. Ellen is one of the most irritating human beings on the face of the earth. How she has any sort of popularity is a total mystery to me. And look, I said it last year with Jon Stewart so I’ll say it again here… I WANT A FRICKING MOVIE PERSONALITY to host the biggest movie event of the year… not a B-grade TV personality. Let her host the Emmy’s… that’s TV… that’s her field.
And just so I can beat all the morons out there to the punch… Ahheemmm… I hate Ellen because she’s a lesbian. All Lesbians and sodomites are deteriorating the fabric of our society and are destined for the hell they all so richly deserve. All gays should be packed in boxes and shipped to Europe where they belong. There… now you don’t have to say it.
But seriously folks… I just don’t get it. I think this is a horrible choice. Will I give her a chance? Yes… I hated the Chris Rock selection too (obviously because I hate all black people) and I gave him a chance… and honestly he didn’t do as badly as I thought he might… still nothing memorable though. Oh well… it’s done. Ellen, an unfunny, non-movie industry person with the charm of a toothbrush is your host. I hope it works.
