Guy Pearce as Two Face?

Guy Pearce became a known name with Momento and Nolan as well. I loved him as Mondego in The Count of Monte Cristo, but lately he hasnt been in anything that is making him a household name, but that may soon change.

Cinema Blend reports:

Yet it seemed almost inevitable that Pearce and Nolan would re-unite at some point, which is why this latest Batman: The Dark Knight casting rumor from Batman-On-Film makes a lot of sense. Word from them is that all the other names rumored for the role of Harvey “Two-Face” dent have been trashed and that Guy Pearce is being brought in to play Batman’s conflicted future nemesis.

This sure lends to the momentum of the franchise as well as the concern for the characters and setting up roles for them before they are needed.

Batman: The Dark Night is being set up with Joker as the villian and there is no need to stack more baddies with him. This does imply that in a future installment we will see TwoFace, but it will be interesting to see how he deals with that. One of the key moments in Batman history that involves TwoFace is a critical trap that involves Batman having to choose between his love interest and ROBIN! As we discussed earlier, its not chronologically appropriate to have Robin present.

I honestly dont see this conflict appearing in the movie since it was done in the series these movies are trying to make us forget.

This could put Guy Pearce back in the spotlight, if not for this role, but the kind of exposure that a franchise like this could give the guy.
