Recently John posted the images of Megatron from the new Tranformers Movie. On more than one occassion, John and I have discussed the new look of Megatron. John loves it, and at first I hated it. I agreed that it looked cool, and definitely said “EVIL” on its every inch, but to me it just wasn’t Megatron.
I conceded to John when he said “As long as they get the personality and the ‘character’ of Megatron right, it wont matter that he doesnt look like Megatron” But now my favourite webcomic chimes in on the topic, and I cannot agree more.
Scott Kurtz at PvPOnline.com posted this today:

I think that sums it up nicely.
Mullet. Thats just not cool anymore.
(and yes, it WAS cool at one time)
