Sharon, Rodney, The Audio Edition and Price of Peace – God of War

Hey there folks, John here with a little in house business.

1) Most of you have noticed that Rodney and Sharon have been doing a lot of posting around here lately. There is a reason for that. Besides the fact that I’ve wanted a woman’s voice on The Movie Blog for a long time, it’s also just nice to get different voices once in a while. But MOSTLY, they’ve been helping me keep the site going while I dedicate more time to getting my documentary, Price of Peace – God of War (or PoPGoW) finished. Making documentaries are WAY harder than it looks, and in doing this (my very first time at it) I’ve developed a whole new level of respect for guys like Jay (www.thedocumentaryblog.com) who make these things. So, for now, and the next few months my personal posting will be limited to 3 or 4 posts a day with Sharon and Rod picking up my slack.

2) AUDIO EDITION TONIGHT! After a short absence we’re back and the gang is all here. Joining me tonight will be Doug, Darren and Bruxy. We’ve got lots to talk about since we missed a week. Should be fun.

3) For those of you who missed it, we’ve announced that Doug Nagy is back as a regular Monday Roundtable member of the Audio Edition team. He’s way too busy to do anymore than that… but he just couldn’t stay away. Speaking of which, Bruxy Cavey is also going to be a “regular” member of the team too. He however, has a huge speaking engagements list, so he won’t be able to make it every single week. Darren is married now with no life, so he’ll always be here. (KIDDING!)

4) Thanks to the most AWESOME Pia, the new design bugs are slowly getting all worked out. Please do contact me and let me know if you still find any.

5) Tonight after The Audio Edition we’re recording our commentaries to The Princess Bride and Conan The Barbarian. Now that should be fun! We’re going to be doing the same thing we did last time and ask for paypal donations if you decide to download them. We don’t ask for donations for the site, but these commentaries are special projects that we’ve done because you guys have asked for them. We’ve decided for now to not “Charge” for them, but to keep it “honor system”. We hope you like them!

Ok, that’s it for now. Have a great day!
