A while ago we reported on the new film by Blair Witch director Ed Sanchez. This is Ed’s first film since The Blair Witch Project (please note, Ed didn’t direct that steamy pile of shit movie Blair Witch 2). I’m a little biased about Sanchez because I’ve hung out with him a bit (not that he’d ever remember me) and he is an honestly nice guy. The premise of the film (Called “Altered”) even sounds great,
Altered is another low budget horror movie, this time about an alien abduction, but there’s a twist: it’s also a revenge flick. Fifteen years ago, five friends were abducted and only four returned. Now they’ve managed to capture one of the creatures responsible for taking their friend… payback is a bitch, right?
So out comes the trailer… and man it SUCKS. No seriously, it’s one of the worst trailers I’ve ever seen in my life. Watch it below… then watch it again and imagine you didn’t read that little synopsis I put up. Would you have any idea what the hell you were watching?
I’ll still see it no doubt… but man my expectations just dropped through the floor.
