Deleted Borat Porno Scene?

To me, Borat is in the top 3 best films of the year. Not just because of it’s insane hilarity, but mostly because of it’s brilliant social commentary. Man, some of the stuff they do in that flick is CRAZY and shows they have no fear. I thought it couldn’t get any more extreme… well… maybe it was more extreme before the movie hit the editing room.

The good guys over at Slashfilm give us this:

Did you know that a scene involving Borat on the set of a porno film was cut from the finished film because it was deemed too graphic? The scene features Borat participating in a porno. According to Borat co-writer and co-producer Dan Mazer, the “unbelievably shocking, amazing, graphic, extreme scene” was cut because it was deemed too extreme for the movie.

Dan says the the scene will probably end up on the eventual DVD release.

It’s probably a good thing they took that scene out if indeed this story is true. That sounds like it would have just pushed it a little too far… but holy crap I’d like to see it in the dvd just out of pure curiosity sake.
