Terrence Howard is continuing to make strong choices in his acting career with his new movie Pride. I just checked out the trailer for this movie over at moviesonline.com.
Ok so the the premise of the movie feels a bit played (yet another true story about a teacher who gets inner city teenagers to pick up a sport, thus inspiring them to strive for greatness). But…..the trailer itself shows a multitude of talent, not just in the acting but also in the cinematography and directing and I felt myself starting to get attached to the characters just from the trailer. The film also stars Bernie Mac and Kimberly Elise Even after seeing quite a few less than spectacular “based on a true story” movies similar to this one of the past few years I can’t help wanting to see this one.
