The Remarkable Power within Tom Arnold

Tom Arnold is just one of those guys you have to like. Ok, you dont have to, but I do. Ironically I can say aside from True Lies, 9 Months and that cowboy in the casino bathroom in Austen Powers, I havent liked, and/or cared for ANYTHING else this guy has done. I dont know, i just like him. Maybe I just like him in True Lies. Anyways…

Coming Soon says:

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story centers on an eclectic collection of Los Angeles locals whose lives are intertwined after a late-night talk-show host masterminds an elaborate stunt to save his canceled show, with murder and mayhem ensuing. Arnold will play a low-rent private investigator.

This role reminds me a LOT of his role in True Lies. Arnold made a GREAT sidekick to the ever efficient and well trained Schwarzenegger. To place him back in the role of a lesser authority figure suits his personality perfectly. I can just picture him in a buttoned up untucked shirt and loose fitting tie with an arsenal of shoddy investigation gear, trying really hard to get the job done. Its so endearing to his personality.

Maybe one day we will get to see True Lies 2.
