Vin Diesel Gets Dropped From Hitman

Whatever happened to Vin Diesel? You remember him right? The talentless “actor” who fumbled his way to stardom by portraying stiff one dimensional action heroes with about as much range as a bee bee gun shot underwater. You know the guy I’m talking about (although even I will admit that he did a decent job in “Find Me Guilty… a movie that made… are you ready for this… $1 million at the box office. Yes… you read that right. BOMB!). The Pacifier anyone?

Anyway, many video game fans were excited to hear that Vin Diesel was tapped to play the lead in the new “Hitman” adaptation. Well… that rug has been pulled out from under him. The good folks at Moviehole give us this:

(Vin Diesel) has been pushed from a project he’s really been rooting for. “Hitman” was a project Diesel was psyched as hell about. Based on the video game of the same name, it was apparently something he’d been trying to develop for quite a while now – possibly as a franchise- and was getting closer and closer to becoming a reality. Now, Twentieth Century Fox has decided they’re going to go “a different way” and have dropped Diesel for Timothy Olyphant. The “Deadwood” star is FOX’s new ‘it boy’.

So Vin… hows xXx 3 looking to you now?
