There was a period not long ago where I was eating up just about any Asian horror flick I could get my hands on. But recently, that’s changed a little. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting in the least that Asian horror flicks have declined in quality. As a matter of fact, an argument could be made that they’ve just gotten better and better. The problem is me. I’ve just gotten desensitized to them a little and they don’t quite “do it” for me anymore… at least not as much as they used to.
Having said that, I just watched this Matrimony trailer, and I have no idea why, but it spooked me. The guys over at MoviesOnine have this to say about Matrimony:
It’s about a woman whose husband won’t allow her to go into one specific room in the house, a locked room. One day the key mysteriously appears to her and she enters, only to find the presence of a woman he just can’t let go.
Check out the trailer. (Update, I previously reffered to this film as Japanese, but I was corrected)
