This is a terrific idea, and one that I hope works really well. The makers of the new indie horror film “Starlit” are doing something that is really forward thinking. They’ve decided to let you download their movie… for FREE from their website. Here’s the only “catch”. They ASK, that if you like the movie, that you consider using the paypal button to donate $5 to the makers. I think this is an amazing idea!
Pay for it… if you like it. Man, I wish movie theaters were like that. To encourage other indie filmmakers to do the same, I’ve already donated my $5, just cause I like what he’s doing so much (I haven’t even watch the film yet).

The film follows a serial killer who poses as a filmmaker to find the actresses who become his prey, the entire film presented as a filmed record of the killings by the killer himself.
