Right on the heels of reporting Ewan McGregor might play Curt Cobain, we get news of something else McGregor has been working on. I really like when he does these serious British art films.
McGregor will take the lead role as a heroic Scottish farmhand who leads the resistance against the invaders and wins the girl (Rosamund Pike). Griffiths will play Luftwaffe chief Hermann Goering. The cast also includes Tom Wilkinson,Alan Cumming,Richard E. Grant and Timothy Spall.
Yeah, the part you didnt get in my little snippet is that they will be playing the VOICES. Better yet, they will be voices of ACTION FIGURES!
A lot like the insanely funny Robot Chicken episodes, the players on this stage will be stop motion animation action figures.
That and Alan Cumming is in it. And thats just cool.
