Yep, I know I’ve mentioned it on posts and on the audio edition but I really can’t say enough good things about the wrongfully under distributed film Idiocracy. Soon you will be able to see for yourself the magic that Mike Judge does with this movie. It is a goofy, hysterical flick that shows us a frighteningly real glimpse of what our future very well could be.
Here is the premise:
Private Joe Bowers, the definition of “average American”, is selected by the Pentagon to be the guinea pig for a top-secret hibernation program. Forgotten, he awakes 500 years in the future. He discovers a society so incredibly dumbed-down that he’s easily the most intelligent person alive.
