Jennifer Garner Signs Up For Juno

Jennifer-Garner.jpgThose of you who have been around The Movie Blog for a while know that the level of my lust/love/infatuation for Jennifer Garner is equalled only by that of Doug Nagy’s love of profanity (and that’s a lot). To me, she is the perfect blend of “sexy as hell” and “cute girl next door”. Ahhh… oh Jennifer… what does Ben have that I don’t? Besides good looks, mountains of money, an Oscar and his own production company that is.

Anyway, looks like Jennifer has signed on for an interesting sounding new project called “Juno”. The good folks over at Movieweb give us this:

Jennifer Garner is set to star in the comedy, Juno for Mandate Pictures, John Malkovich’s Mr. Mudd Productions and Jason Reitman’s Hard C. Reitman is also directing the film that centers on a teenager faced with an unplanned pregnancy; Diablo Cody is writing the screenplay. Ellen Page and Michael Cena are already attached to the flick; Variety notes Garner will portray the hopeful adoptive mother.

I like that Garner has avoided the big blockbusters up to this point. But that will probably change soon enough. Man, I wonder how big her career would be right now if it wasn’t for Electra?
