Jim Carrey is a lot of things on screen. But one thing I can say I didnt expect from him was Horror. So when I saw that Horror Movies.ca had an article posting stills from the movie, I thought I would check it out.
We have a bunch of new stills for the film. The psychological thriller “The Number 23” stars Jim Carrey as a man whose life unravels after he comes into contact with an obscure book titled The Number 23. As he reads the book, he becomes increasingly convinced that it is based on his own life. His obsession with the number 23 starts to consume him, and he begins to realize the book forecasts far graver consequences for his life than he could have ever imagined.
I so hope that Carrey keeps his game face on and doesnt silly this out. He often takes roles that require his trademark “Holy shit what the hell was that?” over the top reactions. This sounds like it could lend to those type of situations, so hopefully he can reign it in. The trailer suggests that he has.
A lot of people might disagree with me, but I think Carrey has a lot more in him than we have seen so far.
