The National Society of Film Critics have just announced that their award for the year’s best film has gone to Guillermo del Toro’s MASTERFUL film “Pan’s Labyrinth“. The honor is well deserved (even though my pick for best flick of the year is “The Departed”.
Pan’s Labyrinth is one of those rare films that will have you thinking about it weeks after you’ve seen it. You can watch my personal 3 minute review of Pan’s Labyrinth here.

Best Actress: Helen Mirren (The Queen)
Best Supporting Actor: Mark Wahlberg (The Departed)

Best Screenplay: The Queen
Best Documentary: An Inconvenient Truth
