Timothy Olyphant gets Hitman

It looks like the covetted role of Agent 47 in Hitman isnt going to the beefy baddass Vin Diesel, but instead to the edgy crass Timothy Olyphant

Cinematical gives us:

Timothy Olyphant has replaced Vin Diesel in the role of Agent 47 for 20th Century Fox’s planned video game adaptation Hitman. If all goes well (and how many of these video game flicks actually do go well?), there’s a possibility Hitman will turn into a franchise and churn out a few more flicks. In fact, Olyphant’s deal does allow for sequels

Olyphant has played some real badass roles. From a porn producer character in Girl Next Door to his western role in the curse layden HBO Series Deadwood, Olyphant looks like he just might make a good Agent 47. He has to be cold, calm and driven, while still tough and brutal.

I really thought Vin Diesel would have been incredible in this role, and I thought we would see a LOT more of him than we have. Maybe the Pacifier was a little to candy sweet of a role, and people dont want to take him serious (look out for Hannibal the Conqueror though)
