Cinema Blend’s Lexi Feinberg caught it at an early screening a few weeks ago and called Air Guitar Nation, “a wildly foolish flick that takes the best elements of stand-up comedy and mixes them with good, old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll.”
What do I think of it? Well the trailer looks pretty damned funny. I know enough hardcore air guitarists that I see their type represented just in the trailer. II seem to remember a disk jockey talking about the air guitar championships a year or two ago and it struck me then that there is definitely enough people out there doing for this to merit a competition. If they have pie eating competitions why can’t they have them for air guitar solos?
Even if it’s completely absurd, the film looks like good fun. Rock on Air Guitar Nation.
