Dan Aykroyd is developing a Ghost Busters 3 and Bill Murray has apparently already signed on to do the voice for it. The people over at movieweb.com give us more on this:
Dan Aykroyd said he’s developing a third installment of the Ghostbusters series. Remarking on radio station, CISN Country, he revealed that a Ghostbusters III is in the works. Aykroyd said the film will be CGI and Bill Murray has agreed to do the voice of Dr. Peter Venkman. Nothing was mentioned if Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson or any other of the original actors will return to voice their characters.
I seem to remember watching a Saturday afternoon cartoon of Ghostbusters and to be honest I had enough of cartoon ghosts back then. I am not interested in the lease in a CGI or animated version of this at all. I’d love to see a real life version, but I’m not sure if I’m in the majority on that view. The last Ghostbusters movie came out in 1989, that is almost long enough to just do a remake (no! I don’t actually want that but still). Maybe I’m wrong but I think an animated Ghostbusters 3 will be so dead it will have it’s own ghost to bust
