Anna Nicole Smith wasn’t what I would call a superstar, or even a movie star. But she was certainly a known figure.
MSN Entertainment says:
Anna Nicole Smith, the pneumatic blonde whose life played out as an extraordinary tabloid tale — jeans model, Playboy centerfold, widow of an octogenarian billionaire, reality-show subject, tragic mother — died Thursday after collapsing at a hotel. She was 39.
I know little to nothing about Anna Nicole Smith, short of her contravercial marriage to aging oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. And I saw maybe half of an episode of her reality show. The girl went from super busty supermodel, to tubby blonde bimbo and back again while still gaining recognition.
Reading up on her, I discovered this priceless quote: “I’m sick of being accused of gold-digging. It just so happens I get turned on by liver spots.”
