Give Us A New Name For The Audio Edition

When we became the very first movie related podcast on the internet almost two and a half years ago, the name “The Audio Edition” just seemed like a nice, easy, simple title for the little audio show Doug and I were recording in his bedroom on my laptop with two $10 Radio Shack microphones. The name stuck with us now for over 200 episodes.

However, times have changed. With soooo many podcasts out there now (many of which are just amazing), and the fact that our podcast is no longer just “audio” anymore (we do video versions as well), keeping the name “The Audio Edition” just doesn’t make much sense anymore. It’s time for a name change. A new name that reflects the spirit of the show and isn’t limited to just the medium of audio. Yes, it’s time to change the name of The Audio Edition.

So since I have the creativity of a shoe, we thought it would be a good idea to ask you guys… our international friends, to help us out and throw some suggestions our way. You guys made the show what it is… so why not let you guys name it? So here’s what we’re going to do…

For the next couple of days we’ll be accepting name suggestions. We’ll then select 4 of them and put them up in a poll for everyone to vote on. The winning name gets the HUGE PRIZE of a $20 Amazon gift certificate (might as well drop out of school now) and the the respect of his peers.

So there you go. Enter the comments section and start leaving your ideas for a new name for The Audio Edition. Thanks you guys!
