Jessica Biel, the world’s most attractive and healthy star in Hollywood these days has just scooped up the leading role in A Woman of No Importance. The good people over at monstersandcritics.com gives us this:
Hollywood’s it girl, actress Jessica Biel has scooped up Lindsay Lohan’s intended movie role. Jessica, 24, will play Hester Worsley in the film version of Oscar Wilde’s “A Woman of No Importance,” reports In Touch magazine. Lindsay made the announcement last week that she was pulling out of the film, to concentrate on her recovery. In Touch alleges Lohan is becoming “hard to insure” after consistent illness and unplanned leaves interrupted her last few movies. Jessica taking over the role is said to “reignite a festering feud” between the two stars, according to In Touch.
Here is the plot:A woman’s past comes back to haunt her when the man who left her with a child becomes the potential employer of their illegitimate son. Based on the play by Oscar Wilde. I am very excited to see this, Oscar Wilde is a wonderful writer(hopefully the person adapting it will be good) Annette Benning is also cast in the film. and…it will not be starring Lindsay Lohan!!
I think Biel has chops, yes she is hot but besides that she also has some depth to her acting, obviously the right casting decision was made here. Lohan needs to focus on getting addiction therapy and growing up, taking a few acting classes might help as well. Not that Lohan can’t act but she is not consistent, the girl need some down time to think about her life and this role lost will help her get it.
Biel is the right girl for the job and I’m glad she got it. How about everyone out there?
