Power of the Dark Crystal NOT on Hold

So mark your callendar kiddies, John was wrong.

Ok it wasnt John who said the Dark Crystal sequel was being canned, it was linking to an online article that we commented on. So relax John, your reputation is still intact. As the trusted source of internet gossip however we were sucked into the rumour mill and we were lead astray.

CinemaBlend offers:

There’s a rumor floating around right now that the Jim Henson Company has put The Power of the Dark Crystal, their Dark Crystal sequel, on hold. Let’s start this off right by making it clear right now that this is absolutely untrue. There’s nothing to it, and from what I can tell it’s something made up by the new crop of movie blogs which float around out there making their way by inventing rumors to get traffic. It’s become an epidemic folks, and this is just one of the many symptoms.

Now I am happy to say that I am glad this turned out to be innaccurate, and that it means someday we may still see a Dark Crystal sequel!

So I guess we are one of those new trendy Movie Blog websites just trying to generate traffic? Maybe its time to put an all caps in THE Movie Blog, so people don’t mistake us for those other blogs?
