The Condemned trailer is now up an online. Don’t know what it is?
An adrenalin-charged action thriller, “The Condemned” tells the story of Joe Conrad (Stone Cold Steve Austin), who is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison. He is “purchased” by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor.
Woo Hoo! Ok, so this film is obviously a cross between The Running Man and Battle Royale, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The premise is fun and just sets everything up for pure brainless action. I can live with that. Throw in Vinnie Jones and you’ve got a good time.
Will this movie be stupid? No doubts about it. Will the acting be horrible? Yup, bank on it. Could it be fun? Well, you know what, I’m guessing it will be, and what more can we ask for from a studio called WWE Films? Check out The Condemned trailer below.
