The Hills Have Eyes 2 now has a trailer for our viewing pleasure. The good folks over at cinematical.com showed us where to find it, thanks guys. Click here to see the trailer.
My thoughts on it? Well I have said before on the movie blog that I actually liked The Hills Have Eyes, it was scary and fun without being too over the top gruesome. It, of course was a little cliché but not to the point where it was distracting. The premise for the new Hills Have Eyes is as follows: A group of National Guard trainees find themselves battling against a vicious group of mutants on their last day of training in the desert.
This new movie is completely unoriginal, looking at the trailer I do not see one moment of uniqueness or anything that I haven’t seen a million times before. It’s not really the trailer’s fault, they do a good job of trying to make it look interesting, but the plot that is shown is just so…done. There are no known names attached to this, it’s just a bunch of attractive actors who will hide this in their hall of shame if they ever become famous. The only thing I liked about this trailer at all was the music, about halfway through this very cool sort of modern folk, very good listening.
This trailer has sufficiently turned me off of ever seeing The Hills Have Eyes 2.
