Most people would look at the photo I have above and just quickly brush it off as “just another picture of some filmmakers”. But honestly, the moment I saw it I appreciated the moment. Look at it. REALLY look at it. Say what you want about any individual movies any of these 4 men have made… the fact of the matter is you are looking at LEGENDS.
These 4 guys did more to redefine film and movie making in their generation more than any other quartet probably in history. From movies they’ve made, styles they created or even technologies they invented and spearheaded, Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are legends.
This picture of the 4 of them together gave me pause when I saw it, and really appreciated the moment. That photo is history. I wish I could get my hands on a really large version.. I’d frame and hang that sucker.
