Dougray Scott in Hitman

The last thing I remember Dougray Scott in was Ever After with Drew Barrymore. Even though I liked that movie, I can’t say Scott really got my attention. Then came Mission Impossible 2. Pretty good, but still not enough to really make a lasting impression. And I don’t watch Desperate Housewives. Someone saw something somewhere. He is now the opposition in Hitman.

Cinematical Says:

Luc Besson has said Scott will co-star in the long-awaited movie-version of the Hitman game. Timothy Olyphant stars in Hitman as Agent 47, an assassin who works for a shady outfit called The Agency.

According to what IGN was picked up, Scott will play the antagonist who pursues Olyphant throughout the film.

I am really interested in this movie. I wish they had made it without having to attach a video game franchise to it, but you know that would sell more tickets than a generic named movie.

The Hitman games have a good story to them that would easily translate to film. Pretty straight forward story. Lots of potential for twists. Including the man who was once up for the role of Wolverine, (losing it out to the now irreplaceable Hugh Jackman) sounds like a good idea.
