One of the big reasons I religiously watch Veronica Mars is because of Kristen Bell. Ok the story is pretty good, witty dialogue, teen drama, and Enrico Colantoni plays her dad. He is cool. But really it was Bell that got my attention. So aside from the upcoming Fanboys, I can look forward to Bell in another movie.
Kristen Bell has indeed signed on to star in the upcoming Universal romantic comedy FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL. Retarded title aside, the film is being produced by Judd Apatow (THE 40-YEAR-OLD VIRGIN, ANCHORMAN, etc.) so it can’t be all that bad. The film will star Bell as the title character, an actress who dumps her boyfriend and vacations with her new beau only to find her ex is also at the same resort trying to forget about her.
I got about as far as the part where it says she was at a resort. The rest I had to check on later. Instantly I assume this resort isnt a SKI resort, in my head shes in the hottest place on the planet and therefore wearing bikinis the entire time holding a drink with a paper umbrella. Don’t argue with me. It wont help.
Who am I trying to kid? The girl would look amazing in a burlap sack.
But that aside, it looks like a typical romantic comedy, and I predict that while the guy is trying to forget about Bell (blasphemy) he will realize that he isn’t really in love with his ex and move on with his life. Either that or its the other side of that same coin and he will do something crazy and she will realize that she should still be with him.
Either way I am going to see it.
