Looks like they will be doing a trilogy for the Sin City franchise, which is just fine by me. The first movie kicked my ass so hard my balls broke; and yes sir may I have another. Today we hear that both Banderas and Depp will be in the third installment, we get the skinny from FILMWAD
MTV News reports that, though filming hasn’t even begun on Sin City 2 yet, Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller already have a rough idea of how the third installment is going to work out. While part 2 will revolve only around the story A Dame To Kill For, the third will likely be based off Hell and Back, with Johnny Depp playing the protagonist, Wallace. Antonio Banderas will also have a role in part 3, though as to what it is, Rodriguez isn’t quite sure.
I have no doubt that with the amount of talent and vision behind these movies it may become one of the most acclaimed series of films since Star Trek.
