Fairy Tales are delightful stories of moral instruction that have been passed down through the ages. They have a way of staying with us, because they ignite our imaginations so vividly. On occasion fairy tales have been recreated for film and television. One such project was Hoodwinked; and today we learn a sequel is in the works. We get the scoop from moviehole:
The not-terribly-successful “Hoodwinked” is about to spawn a sequel.
Mike Disa (“Seven Dwarves”) has been tapped by the Weinstein Co. and Kanbar Entertainment’s “Hoodwinked 2: Hood vs. Evil,” a CG-animated sequel to the 2006 pic, says Variety.
One of the greatest lessons fairy tales teach us is that a sequel is not necessary.
