More Rumours of the Joker in Batman Dark Knight

Aside from the XMen, I have to say that Batman Begins is my favourite comic book adaptation. I love how the story was told and despite Krazy Holmes character, the movie was still enjoyable from beginning to end. I even got a little misty when Alfred breaks decorum and gets choked up over Bruce’s parent’s death. With the sequel well on its way, all the news seems to be rolling around the contravercial Heath Ledger as the Joker.

The people over at Batman on Film picked up this from a “reliable source”:

* The Joker will have gray skin with scarring.

* The Joker’s costume will be raggedy (This may confirm the info BOF got a long while ago saying that his costume will look as if it was something he put together one piece at a time).

* He’s going to look damn scary, not clownish.

The same source later updated the site saying this isn’t a description of the final design, but is “indicative of where they’re going.”

I really like how this sounds. Although at first thought, I am thinking the Joker’s appearance sounds more like a crazy homeless guy.

I mean he COULD be a crazy homeless guy. Murderer. No one said he had to be the glamourous high rolling mob boss that he is portrayed as in the previous movies. And I am kinda digging that idea.

With the tone of these movies, I dare ask if Ledger will pull off a more convincing crazy than Jack Nicholson.
