If you were going to stop pushing babies out of your vagina, in fear that there would be a shortage of Shrek movies in the future to babysit your kids, you may indulge in pregnancy once again! DreamWorks Animation reported its earnings for the third quarter of 2006 on Tuesday and revealed that Shrek 4 will hit theaters in 2010. Also, the Puss in Boots movie, previously expected to go straight to DVD, will instead be a theatrical release sometime after Shrek 4.
Shrek was funny for a kids movie, but I am not a fan. I dislike it more than most; probably due to the over use of the Scottish accent by Michael Meyers. He is a talented guy, I am a fan of his work – I liked the “If It ain’t Scottish It’s Crap” sketch on SNL, but I cannot take any more of his Scottish characters. Way too many for me to stomach.
But for those of you that enjoy Shrek, I hope I have brought you good news. Please feel free to celebrate without me, enjoy the film with your youngsters. Breeders.
