Funny story today that I caught from Monsters And Critics about the upcoming film “The Best Time Of Our Lives”. From M&C we get the following:
Actress Sienna Miller, not Lindsay Lohan, will co-star with Keira Knightley, Cillian Murphy and Matthew Rhys in “The Best Time of Our Lives,” directed by John Maybury, and begins shooting in early May in Wales, reports Variety.
According to Variety the producers couldn’t cough up what Lohan was asking for, so she was nixed in favor of the “Factory Girl.”
In the long run I think they will be happy that they couldn’t afford Lohan. In this case, it looks like the lack of money made the right decision for them. Keira Knightly’s mother Sharman Macdonald penned this work, and it will be interesting to see if they duke it out as the film is being made. I sure as hell couldn’t work on a set with my mother, we couldn’t go through moving furniture from one room to another without yelling at eachother.
In recent news Sienna was rumored to be in the running for Barbarella, and from what pics I have seen of Sienna – It looks like it would be a pretty damn good fit. If this underpriced gal keeps scoring kick ass roles like this, one after another – she will be out of peoples’ price range by this time next year. Will Sienna become the next Lohan?
