Sin City looks like it may make its way to television?! We get the delicious scoop from our friends at movieweb:
As Robert Rodriguez continues to promote Grindhouse around the country, the questions are coming up about his next project, Sin City 2.
On the PBS interview series, The Charlie Rose Show, the writer/director spoke about taking the famed animated series to television. He could possibly start that after production ends on Sin City 2, which begins in June.
I think this is a pretty great idea myself. Enough is going on in the world of Sin City that you could make independent episodes and/or have an ongoing interconnected story. I love the black and white stylized images and by doing it like this on television, you will be able to get away with murder (ala South Park.) If they get this on Showcase or HBO – I can see it being a pretty big hit.
