When the latest Fantastic Four 2 trailer came out (which was pretty good actually) a lot of people noticed that Jessica Alba has been made up to look a lot different than she did in the first Fantastic Four movie. Some people complain that she looks a little too plastic and artificial. I can see where these people are coming from.
However, there is something about the new look that I actually like. No, I don’t like it in general as a look… but to me… somehow Jessica looks a little bit more “Sue Storm-ish” to me now. She doesn’t look like a little girl anymore (which was a big complaint with a bunch of people from the first one). She looks more mature… stronger… confident. So while I’m not big on the look in general… I think it actually works in this situation.
