This film sounds a little too much like Unbreakable to me. A family that is struggling with their emotional problems needs a miracle to bring them together. In Unbreakable the magic happens when the dad realizes that he is a super hero. In Tonight He Comes the family is strengthened when a super hero becomes a friend of the family. He teaches them how to be heroes and they give him the fellowship and attention he so desperately needs.
I am sick of blatant life lessons in super hero films. When I see movies with super heroes I want to see high octane action. I do not want to see most of the screen time dedicated to their emotional struggles. Give me a fucking break, we want super heroes not emo folk singers with the gift of flight.
