This is one of those strange things that cuddle with those dark corners of my mind and suddenly spring to vibrant life when I trip over them again.
MONSTER SQUAD is coming to DVD. Its about time!
Count Dracula adjourns to Earth, accompanied by Frankenstein’s Monster, the Wolfman, the Mummy, and the Gillman. The uglies are in search of a powerful amulet that will grant them power to rule the world. Our heroes – the Monster Squad are the only ones daring to stand in their way.
This movie rivalled the Goonies for me when I was a kid.
Strangely Goonies trumped all other cinematic experiences and managed to nearly wipe the memory of this movie from my head. But now that it is out on DVD, I will have to get this movie.
My kids need to learn important things in life, and movies like this teach them those valuable lessons.
