News coming back from the test screenings of Transformers appears to be very good. We get the encouraging news from our friends at /film:
“[It tested] higher than any other of Michael [Bay]’s movies,” producer Tom DeSanto told RT. “It’s good, everybody’s excited. It’s a great time right now because in a summer of sequels, we’re going to be bringing something new to the table.”
This is positive news indeed. I do not think this guarantees that the movie will be awesome, but if it is receiving higher scores than all his other films – I think it is safe to say that it will not suck. I have been going back and forth on my excitement of this project. I may be lowering my expectations on purpose because so many films I have looked forward to have let me down this year.
I just hope I do not see lips on Optimus, they bother my sensibilities.
