Right now, there are offers out to three people to join the cast. If the studio’s gotten to the point where they’re officially making an offer, you can expect that these people will most likely make it into the film.
Patrick Wilson, as Night Owl.
Keanu Reeves as Dr. Manhattan
Jude Law as Adrien Veidt, aka Ozymandias.
I am going to be straight with you dudes. I have never read the Watchmen, but from the wiki and the response from the fans of the series – It looks like it is a graphic novel that I will have to pick up. For those of you that have read the story – are the above castings good decisions?
Keanu is often picked on, and sometimes with good reason. But we cannot forget that he has been kickass in films that fit his persona. He was down right awesome in Bill and Teds Excellent adventure 1 and 2, and his on screen camaraderie with Patrick Swayze in Point Break is the stuff of legend.
Jude Law has yet to disappoint me and Patrick Wilson is someone that I do not yet have an opinion of. Overall these are some big names to add to a project, now let us see if this news remains true or fades to fiction.
