An Aircraft Carrier Transformer?

Aircraft-CarrierEveryone around here knows how much I’ve been dying to see Transformers. Aside from the first Star Wars Prequel, I have never anticipated a film more in my life (sad…. I know). So far, everything looks great (then again… everything looked great leading up to Phantom Menace too). But this bit of news really caught my attention.

From our friends over at slashfilm:

Michael Bay revealed one of his ideas for Transformers that was too expensive for the big screen: “I had an amazing aircraft-carrier idea that was just too expensive, so maybe another movie… that’ll get the fans talking!”

Holy crap! Can you imagine?!?! How fricking cool would a transforming Aircraft Carrier have been?!?!?! Damn, I miss it… and I’ve never even seen it. One can only hope that it does indeed make its way into a sequel (assuming Transformers doesn’t bomb and it does indeed get a sequel). How BIG would that robot have been??? I’m guessing they would probably have to make it “Omega Supreme”.
